PRODUCT - Strap hinges are used for the construction of garden gates, wooden chests, and cabinet doors. The hinge ensures that the two parts are movably connected.
FEATURES - The strap hinge is screwed to the back of the two components using countersunk screws. Since the holes are countersunk, flush mounting is possible.
USABILITY - Tip for building a wooden chest: To ensure the lid sits flush on the chest, a small recess should be made at the top of the chest in the width of the strap hinge. This prevents the lid from resting on the hinge, ensuring no large gap remains between the two parts.
